Rorey’s fans compare his sound to a blend of the traditional artistry of Merle Haggard and George Strait. He also has a modern appeal to his country roots such as Brad Paisley. However, Rorey stands alone with a distinct voice all his own.
He has become a triple threat to the music industry. His singing captures the audience with a raw passion and as a songwriter he can grab their hearts with a single verse. He leaves the crowd in wonderment as he runs up and down the neck of his six- string. Working with some of the best musicians, song- writers and management teams in Nashville only makes him that much more versatile.
It is not much of a surprise he lives for country music, it has always been a part of his life. Rorey spent most of his younger years listening to family members from both his mother and father’s side of the family play. He had the honor of playing guitar for Johnny Paycheck at the tender age of thirteen. When he turned 19 he went out on the road with dynamic country star Danielle Peck, opening up for bigger acts at area fairs and touring the east coast. Rorey then decided to venture out on his own. He came to love being the center stage attraction and has never been able to get enough.
Rorey just completed his first full- length album. Traveling to Nashville all of these years is finally paying off. He looks forward to all of the fans being able to hear these 12 great songs he had a hand in writing. Some of his songs contain the mastery song writing styles of Dan Mitchell (Alabama- If You’re Gonna Play in Texas), Buck Moore (Tracey Lawrence- Paint Me A Birmingham) and many other talented songwriters.
Rorey has a strong bond with his fans. He understands what it means to be a hardworking, family- loving, God- fearing United States citizen these days. Rorey enjoys being with his loyal fans, whether it’s performing live or just hanging out. He knows he can give all of these great country music lovers just what they are looking for.
Rorey is working with HMG management, an inspirational network in Nashville. His current single “Any Other Way” is on HMG’s compilation album, which is distributed across the nation to several radio stations. He was a featured artist in February’s edition of PowerSource Magazine.
